Hi, I’m Christina.

I help people move from where they are to where they want to be, creating lives and careers they love.

My Approach

Collaborative

Coaching is a co-creative process. My role as a coach is to act as a supportive ally, help you identify obstacles, and encourage you to develop new skills and capacities based on your goals and values. As a partner in the coaching relationship, I accompany you as you explore your options.

Integrated and Balanced

Every domain of our lives is embedded in our decision making, whether we are changing jobs, establishing healthy routines, navigating relationships, relocating, or exploring our spirituality. The integral model is inclusive and expansive, bringing the whole person into each session.

Common Coaching Concerns

Executive leadership, managing up, influence, change management, negotiation, conflict resolution, people management, team building, emotional intelligence, industry pivot, navigating a new role, networking.

Transitions

Meaning & Purpose

Developing increased self-awareness about what matters most in life, from why we are here to what kind of day-to-day existence aligns with core values, spiritual practices and habits.

What Clients are Saying

Krystal
Healthcare Leader

"I highly recommend Christina! She worked with me during a time I was feeling really overwhelmed and stressed out, and not sure how to make things better. I was amazed at how quickly we were able to move to the heart of the matter, and the insights I gained from the coaching are still helpful to me today. Through thoughtful questions and gentle prodding, she helped me determine what I needed to do. I really appreciated that she offered a combination of supportive brainstorming and just the right amount of checking in to make sure I followed through on action steps. "

Lori
Financial Services Executive

"Christina is an outstanding coach, and I greatly benefited from our sessions together! She is a true professional, making great use of our time by always being well prepared for every session, picking up where we left off but also recalling comments that I made in sessions months earlier. She is an outstanding listener - listening not only for what I say, but what I'm not saying. She asks thoughtful, probing questions that encourage reflection on all aspects of an issue. Christina has a high EQ and an innate ability to connect with people. Working with Christina was a tremendous experience for me!"

Martha
Registered Nurse

"I had the pleasure of working with Christina as a coach when I was in need of some guidance in my life. I was feeling a little lost and needed someone objective, insightful, energetic, and creative to guide me through. Christina was just what I needed. She was able to quickly and efficiently help me identify the issues holding me back and guide me in developing a concrete, realistic plan that fit into my everyday life. I am so grateful to have had that experience with Christina and continue to use the tools she taught me. I won't hesitate to work with her again in the future."

I have worked with clients from various for-profit industries and nonprofit organizations, including LinkedIn, UCSF, Salesforce, Dropbox, Instacart, the City of Oakland, Ipsos, Kaiser Permanente, Google, Meta, Fidelity Investments, the Federal Reserve, Uber, eBay, American Express, Lyft, Sutter Health, The Gates Foundation, California Education Partners, Amazon, Slack, Genentech, Roche, Service Now, Gilead, Bose, Rivian, California Health Care Foundation, Cisco, Deloitte, and more. I’ve also worked with independent designers, artists, musicians, entrepreneurs, real estate agents, physicians, teachers, illustrators, landscape architects, founders, and crafters.

A little more about me…

I didn’t set out to be a coach. For nearly twenty years, I worked in operational leadership roles, increasing organizational effectiveness and building high-performing teams. At one point, I even owned an art gallery and worked with local artists for five years. If you’d like a detailed list of my prior experience, feel free to hop over to LinkedIn.

Along the way, I realized that my favorite part of any job has been supporting other people in their growth and finding ways to individualize my approach to suit their needs. I made the pivot to coaching in 2009 and haven’t looked back. Meaningful work for me has translated into helping others get unstuck, examine limiting beliefs, achieve goals, develop skills, implement habits, and take action toward new opportunities.

My career has taken a lattice rather than a ladder approach, wayfinding toward the next right step. I use the same wayfinding method in my coaching work, approaching each engagement as a unique journey with no set path. The discovery process allows for unexpected options to emerge.

Outside of my professional life, I am an avid learner who enjoys exploring new ideas, connecting with my community, and savoring life’s small joys. On any given Saturday, I’d like to be in an art museum or exploring a new place. I’ve recently learned how to play Magic the Gathering with my 14-year-old son, discovered a variety of ways to use a kettlebell, and sewn a quilted reversible jacket. I’m 500+ days into my French Duolingo streak. I love board games, roller skating, 80s alternative emo bands, and Mario Kart (pink Yoshi). I usually have four or five books going at one time, a mix of literature, romantasy, science fiction, and the latest on personal development. I’m currently working to finish a Master’s in Theological Studies at Harvard Divinity School, focusing my work on the possibilities for Humanist/Atheist chaplaincy.

FAQ

  • We'll start with a free consultation to determine if working together is a good fit. In that call, I’ll give you an overview of how coaching works and what to expect in a coaching engagement. I never ask someone to commit during a call, and in fact, I ask that you take some time after the call to consider whether or not coaching is right for you.

  • I use a transparent pricing model, charging the same rate for everyone, including organizational and individual clients. The per-session rate is $175 for 55 minutes and $90 for 30 minutes. I have not raised my rates in many years because I want to engage with a variety of clients. Some people believe keeping pace with higher market rates reflects quality of service, but I believe it limits access to people who already have abundant resources.

  • Timelines depend on the person and the goals. I’ve worked with people to transform parts of their lives in as little as four sessions, but the typical engagement tends to be in the 3-to-9-month range, typically meeting twice a month. Clients with more ambitious and comprehensive goals may benefit from longer engagements, while a single issue or a targeted, timely concern may see traction with a more limited engagement. Clients also take breaks, circle back, and shift goals — it’s a flexible and evolving process that can be tailored to fit your needs.

  • While my practice is primarily focused on individual coaching, I also consult with organizations on executive leadership, conflict resolution, organizational effectiveness, board development, and staff training. Please use the contact form for inquiries about organizational work.
